Volunteer Opportunities

The success of many of our extracurricular activities and school council depends on our volunteers. Thank you to everyone who volunteers their time and talents to our school. If you are interested in volunteering at Mackenzie Community School, please contact the School Principal.

Some of our current volunteer opportunities include:

School Council

Consider becoming a representative on our school council comprised of dedicated parents/guardians of MCS students. If you are interested in any position on our council, please contact the Main Office for more information. 

Library Help

Volunteers can assist students with research, re-shelve books and help keep the area tidy and ready for classes.

Extracurricular

We're always grateful to parent volunteers who assist with coaching students on teams and chaperoning school trips.

Elementary Classroom Help

Our primary classrooms really benefit from volunteers. If you have a few hours per week, these grades greatly appreciate your help, particularly with offering reading supports for our students. Individual classroom teachers are the best point of contact for discussing classroom volunteer options.
