EQAO Details and Results
The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) develops student assessments based on expectations in the Ontario curriculum. The assessment provides information on the achievements of students, and enhances classroom assessment data collected by teachers through the school year.
The EQAO is an independent agency established by the Government of Ontario. The EQAO's mandate is to ensure greater accountability and contribute to the enhancement of the quality of education in Ontario through provincial assessments and reviews of elementary and secondary schools. Visit the EQAO website for more information.
Elementary
EQAO testing is completed in English for all of our students. Students in grades three and six complete the tests of Reading, Writing, and Mathematics at the end of May and beginning of June each year.
There will not be testing in the 2020-2021 school year because of Covid-19.
