Christmas Spirit Week
The holidays are fast approaching and the Student Council has been busy planning activities to help keep us in the Christmas spirit through the last week of school. During the last week (Dec. 16-20), we will have a different spirit day each day:
Monday - Santa's Workshop (dress as Santa, an elf, reindeer, etc.)
Tuesday - Toasty Tuesday (wear your comfiest clothes)
Wednesday - Ugly Sweater Day
Thursday - Red, Green and White Day
Friday - Twas the Night Before Christmas (PJ Day)
Winter Pizza Fundraiser
Cheese pizza slices from Frisco's Grill will offered once a week from December 4, 2019 to February 20, 2020. All funds raised will go to projects to benefit the elementary students at MCS. The Pizza Lunch Fundraiser order form is here.
WHEN BUSES ARE CANCELLED and your child is a walker who plans on not attending school for the day, we ask you phone the school. Parents are not required to call when students are busers.
A Reminder to Families with Kindergarten Students:
We all share in the duty to ensure the safety of our students. We would like to remind parents/guardians that you are responsible for the safety and conduct of your child(ren) at the bus stop prior to boarding the bus and in the afternoon following the drop-off. In the case of a Kindergarten student afternoon drop off, a trusted responsible person (e.g. parent/guardian/babysitter) must be waiting at the bus stop to receive your child(ren). If no one meets the child(ren) at the bus stop, drivers are directed to take the child(ren) back to school. Repetitive failure to receive Kindergarten student(s) at the bus stop may result in the removal of transportation privileges.
We thank you for your commitment to student safety.
