Extended Day Program for Children between Ages of 3 - 12

The Renfrew County District School Board  and your school may be offering a School Based Extended Day Program for students (from JK up to age 12) starting September 2019.  This School Based Extended Day Program will operate within the school by an Early Childhood Educator before and after school and is meant to complement the regular day program.

The School Based Extended Day Program is contingent on enrolment and is funded from parent fees.  Subsidies may be available from the County of Renfrew

The School Based Extended Day Program Family Survey form can be completed from the Online Registration portal if you are new to RCDSB and completing the online registration form or from the Google Survey link, at the Board’s website select the Extended Day Program page from the Programs drop down menu.

WHEN BUSES ARE CANCELLED and your child is a walker who plans on not attending school for the day, we ask you phone the school.  Parents are not required to call when students are busers.

A Message from Bob White, General Manager of the Renfrew County Joint Transportation Committee:

A Reminder to Families with Kindergarten Students:

We all share in the duty to ensure the safety of our students.  We would like to remind parents/guardians that you are responsible for the safety and conduct of your child(ren) at the bus stop prior to boarding the bus and in the afternoon following the drop-off.  In the case of a Kindergarten student afternoon drop off, a trusted responsible person (e.g. parent/guardian/babysitter) must be waiting at the bus stop to receive your child(ren). If no one meets the child(ren) at the bus stop, drivers are directed to take the child(ren) back to school. Repetitive failure to receive Kindergarten student(s) at the bus stop may result in the removal of transportation privileges.

We thank you for your commitment to student safety.
